James "Jim" W. Grandpre

James William Grandpre, 72, of Cheyenne, passed surrounded by his loving family on March 1st 2025.

He was born on January 15, 1953, in Cheyenne Wyoming to Betty and Barney Grandpre.

Jim was a carpenter, contractor and business owner, was an avid bird watcher and loved woodworking.,

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Grandpre; daughter, Sarah Palmer (Scott); son, Troy Grandpre (Robin); and granddaughters, Emma Meyer, Allison Meyer, Sydney Grandpre, Hailey Grandpre; sisters, Joyce Mowery, Janice Perry (Leigh); brothers, Jerry Grandpre (Cindy), Jeffery Grandpre, Joe Grandpre (liz), and Jason Grandpre (Jeremy).

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Barney; brother Jack Grandpre; brother-in-law, Robert Gray.

Services will be held at The American Legion Post 6, Saturday the 8th from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
