On September 17, 2019 James “Jim” Guy Bradshaw, artist, cook, friend and loving father passed away in the loving arms of his family at the age of 74.
Jim was born on November 1, 1944 in Dickinson, ND son of John and Elizabeth Butsch. Jim bravely served in the Army from 1961-1967. Jim survived by two children, Nicole Bradshaw (grandson Alexander Bradshaw) and Alicia (Dad’s little “Boog”) Bradshaw (grandchildren, Morgan Robertson, Emma and Jackson Bagley), an “adopted step-son”, Rodney Battle (grandson Patrick Mohler), and four step-children, Maureen Thompson, James Hargraves, Carolyn Stuart, and Jerald Hargraves and many grandchildren. As well as 3 brother and 6 sisters.
Jim worked for many years in car sales and then in mobile home sales. He loved cooking and painting. He was a big sports enthusiast, hunter and fisherman, and loved animals. He loved to tease those around him. And kept us all on our toes. Jim was a very kind and compassionate man to those who he considered family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jim’s favorite charities, Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne or Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
