James F. “Rick” Jackson, 53, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Cheyenne.
He was born on November 22, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas and had lived here since 1992.
Rick was the owner of Frontier Orthopedics Services and was a certified prosthetist. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Rick was a member of the Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics and loved helping his patients. He loved his cars, coaching his sons baseball team, and most importantly, taking care of his family.
Rick was a man who loved living life to the fullest. He was extremely passionate about working on cars, playing guitar, and coaching sport teams. His home provided a beautiful sanctuary for his family with many trees and personal touches. He also loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Rick will be dearly missed by all his family and we look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
Rick is survived by his wife, Jona (Girany) Jackson, whom he married on November 3, 1997 in Cheyenne; children, Justin Siens, James M. Jackson, Gabriel Jackson, and Eleanor Jackson, all of Cheyenne, and Amanda Siens of Dayton, Ohio; mother, Gracie Jackson of Kingwood, Texas; brother, Gary Jackson of Kingwood; two sisters, Grace Marie “Rindy” Soileau of Kingwood and Rhonda Hendizadeh of Springboro, Ohio; two grandchildren, Karsin Siens and Delilah Evans; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Douglas Jackson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Life Commemoration services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
