James R. Fleenor, 67, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born on February 23, 1947 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and had lived in Cheyenne since 1971.
He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Chadron State College.
Mr. Fleenor served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was the owner of Stag Enterprises. He was a member of the American Legion Post 6, VFW, DAV, and loved his family, motorcycles, golf, and sports cars, most specifically corvettes.
He is survived by his children, Jacob Fleenor (Trina), Rayme Van Dell (Rich), and Jessica Fleenor (John Harrison), all of Cheyenne; his mother, Irene (Herdt) Fleenor of Cheyenne; two sisters, Shelley Adent (Phil) of St. George, Utah, and Connie Swain (Stan) of Cheyenne; four grandchildren, Emmaray Van Dell, Jameson Fleenor, Hayden Van Dell, and Madeline Fleenor; and five beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fleenor.
Timeless Memories services will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with Rev. Mark Marston officiating.
A reception will immediately follow at Uncle Charlie’s Tavern.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
