James H. Ednie, 44, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Cheyenne.
He was born on May 7, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York and had lived in Cheyenne since 2002.
James was the founder of Rock For Life and was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral. He was the waiver provider for Cameron Gooden, and loved fishing, music, going to concerts, golf, and most of all his family.
He is survived by a daughter, Jaide Ednie of Cheyenne; a stepdaughter, Alodie Gooden (Tyler Mathews) of Cheyenne; his mother, Georgia Ednie of Wantagh, New York; a brother, Matthew Ednie (Christine) of Bellmore, New York; three sisters, Dawn DeNicola (Marc) of Massapequa, New York, Gina Cubillos (Ricky) of Wantagh, and Erin Ednie of Brooklyn; and a grandson, Nathan Gooden.
James family members that have passed away are his significant other, Tanya Gooden; his stepson, Cameron Gooden; and his father, James Ednie.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Calvary Chapel.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
