James Dalton Catlett, 79, of Cheyenne, died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Cheyenne.
He was born on July 31, 1935 in Wynne, Arkansas and had lived here since 1975.
Mr. Catlett retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years of service. He served during Vietnam, the Korean Conflict, and Desert Storm. After retirement he became a Colonel with FEWAFB Civil Service. He belonged to the American Legion Post 6 and loved the military.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Catlett, whom he married on May 17, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee; two sons, James A. Catlett of Florida and Richard Nicholson of Texas; two daughters, Debbie Andrews of Florida and Davina Martinez of Colorado; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Graveside services will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Lakeview Cemetery.
Military honors will be provided by the FEWAFB Honor Team.
