Jake David Soden, Jr., 70, of Cheyenne, died on Sunday, December 7, 2014.
He was born on March 10, 1944 in Escondido, California and had lived here for over 30 years.
Jake served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Soden was an owner-operator for over 20 years and worked at the Cheyenne Water Department Board of Public Utilities. He was the grounds keeper and a member of Cheyenne Brethren Church, was active in church youth groups including Operation Christmas Child, and loved fishing, being outdoors, eagles, and making jewelry.
He is survived by his three sons, Scott (Barb), James, and Jeffrey Soden; a daughter, Jodi Soden; two brothers, James Soden and John Williams; and seven grandchildren.
Jake was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Callahan; and his parents, Jake Soden, Sr. and Edith Williams.
Cremation has taken place.
