Ina Elizabeth Glandt, age 76, died on June 13th. .
Ina is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dan Glandt of Cheyenne, her two sons Jeff (Margie) Glandt of Rapid City and Todd Glandt of Cheyenne. She is also survived by her sister Gail (Bob) Rockhold and grandchildren Steve (Brooke), Bryan, Levi, Aimee, Sarah, and Ashlee and great grandchildren Dallas, Bradee, Lilah and Luna.
Ina is preceded in death by her parents, F. F. (Buck) and Dessa Marlatt of Huntley Wyoming and her brother John Marlatt of Burns.
Ina was born on July 15th, 1939 in Hawk Springs, Wyoming to F. F. (Buck) and Dessa Marlatt. She graduated from The University of Wyoming in 1970 with a degree in Elementary Education. Ina accepted a teaching position and taught for over 22 years in the Cheyenne School District teaching both in kindergarten and first grade.
Ina loved teaching and connecting with kids. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Ina was an avid reader, especially mystery novels and would read 3 books a week. Ina was a fan of the University of Wyoming basketball team and enjoyed following the games for years.
Ina was active the United Methodists Women’s group. She enjoyed the United Methodist church and was the first woman to be on the board of trustees for the Grace Methodist church. Ina recently joined the Highlands United Presbyterian Church were she really enjoyed the fellowship and services.
A memorial service for Ina will be on June 17th at 11:00 at Highlands United Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ina’s life. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Davis Hospice Center.
