Howard Raymond Schwartzkopf

Howard Raymond Schwartzkopf Jr., 79, passed away at Davis Hospice Center on July 16, 2023. Howard was born on April 26, 1944, in Scottsbluff, NE to Howard and Deloris Schwartzkopf.
Howard worked in the gold mines in South Dakota, the water department in Cheyenne, WY, then worked for the school district for 26 years. Howard enjoyed collecting coins, toy tractors, and candy dishes. He liked to go to train museums and reading about the civil war.
Howard is survived by his wife Mary; sister, Jan Schwartzkopf of Olympia, WA; brother, Jeffrey (Cindy) Schwartzkopf of Maricopa, AZ; daughter, Cindy Heaton of Dexter, MO; daughter, Darlene (Jaime) Martinez of Tomball, TX; stepson, Doug Rafoth of Earlville, IA; stepdaughter Lynette (Don) Kelley of Cheyenne, WY; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; an uncle; and several cousins.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Deloris; sister, Cindy; stepson, Jeff Cooksley; grandson, John Howard; and several aunts and uncles.
You may pay your respects at Wiederspahn Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, 1900 East 19th St., Cheyenne, WY on July 20, 2023 from 10am to 4pm.
Services on July 21, 2023 will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 5101 Dell Range Blvd at 2pm.
