Henry Lee Banks, Jr., 66, of Cheyenne, passed at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 18, 1955, in Baltzer, Mississippi to Henry Lee, Sr. and Lillie Mae (Thomas) Banks.
Henry came to Cheyenne at a young age and after getting his GED he joined the United States Navy and served our great country from 1966 to 1979.
In 1981 he married the love of his life Pauline. Each of them already had a child when they got married so they joined together and made a beautiful family adding two more girls to the family.
Henry is survived by his wife, Pauline; daughters, Heather Plasencio, Christina Morales, Tonya Banks, and Paulette Smith; brothers, JC Banks, Willie Banks, Willie James Banks, Robert Charles, Jessie Banks, Terry Bunch, Eugene Banks; sister, Annie Banks; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many family members from the Bunch family, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded by his parents, sister, Henrietta Smith and Sandra Hodges.
Visitation will be from 9-4 Friday, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Burial to take place at the Cheyenne National Cemetery date and time to be announced.
