Helen Rorabaugh, 91, of Cheyenne has gone to be with her Lord and Savior after multiple health issues Friday, September 5, 2014 at Life Care Center.
She was born April 16, 1923 in Sterling Colorado and had lived here for the past 69 years with prior residence in Denver, CO and Horse Creek, WY.
Helen worked for the State of Wyoming as the head archivist, retiring after 26 years. In her younger years she was a teacher at multiple rural schools in south east Wyoming
She was a member of Harvest Time and enjoyed attending bible study as well as bowling and camping.
Helen is survived by her husband, Leonard Gail Rorabaugh; son, Franklin (Debi) Rorabaugh; three daughters, Evelyn (Bill) Frank, Mona (Rich) Cathcart, and Cheri (Howard) Foster; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Hanesworth; parents, Harold and Hazel Howard; two brothers, Dean and Harold Howard and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
