Helen Lu Palmer, 83, of Tucson, Arizona, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born on August 21, 1931 in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Mrs. Palmer was a legal secretary for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. She loved to volunteer at the Southern Arizona Humane Society and was a member of the Desert Tones Chorus.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Stevens (Rob) of Pine Bluffs; two sons, Keith Palmer (Tracy) of Corvallis, Oregon and Steven Palmer of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, Donald Rimbey (Doris) of Tampa, Florida; and three grandsons, Bryan Stevens of Cheyenne, Michael Stevens of Littleton, Colorado, and Kyle Palmer of Corvallis, Oregon.
Helen was preceded in death by her ex-husband Chester “Bud” Palmer; her parents, Keith and Laura (Graehling) Palmer; and a brother, William Rimbey.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens and a memorial service in Tucson will be announced later.
