Guadalupe Joseph Montoya, 52, of Cheyenne, passed away October 13, 2022, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born November 29, 1969, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Augustine and Bonnie (Gonzalez) Montoya.
Joseph worked as a foreman for C.H. Yarber. He liked spending time with hi family and grandchildren. Also camping, fishing, and the San Francisco 49ers.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Gonzalez; significant other, Ramona Herrera; sons, Carlos (Shay) and Guadalupe (Shi); stepsons and Eli Cardwell, Levi Herrera; four brothers, Augustine, Ray, Tony Montoya, and Jason Marroquin; sister, Socorro Montoya; nine grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Joseph was proceeded in death by his stepfather, Jesus Marroquin; father, Augustine Montoya; grandparents, Jessie and Elvira Martinez; grandson Marcus Montoya.
Vigil for the Deceased will be at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
