GREGORY SCOTT TROFHOLZ, 67, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at CRMC on March 2, 2024. He was born on February 1, 1957, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Ronald and Norma (Bruns) Trofholz. In 1965, the family moved to North Platte, Nebraska, where Greg graduated from high school in 1975.
Greg dedicated 42 years to the Union Pacific Railroad as a Conductor before retiring. He was respected by his colleagues and friends for his knowledge and hard work. In 1986, Greg married Sandra Sharp, and together they raised their two sons, Christopher and Nathan.
He was a passionate outdoorsman who enjoyed boating, fishing, sunny lake days, ice-cold Mountain Dew, and eBay. Greg was also a devoted NASCAR fan and shared his love for fixing cars with his sons.
Greg is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandy; his sons, Christopher and Nathan; his mother, Norma Trofholz; his siblings, Rochelle Trofholz and James (Kristi) Trofholz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Trofholz. In accordance with Greg’s wishes, no services will be held. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
