Glenn Hardwick, 97, of Platteville, Colorado died December 16, 2014 in Greeley, Colorado.
He was born February 9, 1917 in Parnell, Missouri
In 1932 he moved to Weldona, Colorado. In 1937 he began working for the Union Pacific Railroad. He retired after 41 years in the communications and signal department.
In 2004 he and Helen moved from Cheyenne to Platteville.
He was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene and a friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Platteville; grandsons, Troy (Melissa) Hardwick and Greg (Bambi) Hardwick; five great-grandchildren; two step-daughters; two step-sons and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma; son, Allen; step-daughter, Ellen; parents, Allen and Zora; five sisters and four brothers.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday at SonRise Church of the Nazarene, 2811 13th St., Cheyenne, WY, with Pastor Joe Arnold officiating.
Casket bearers will be Troy Hardwick, Greg Hardwick, George Drietch, Bob Marez, Jeff Videl, and Wilbur Olin.
