George Robert Tsuda, 89, of Cheyenne, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Colorado.
He was born on January 30, 1927 in Laramie, Wyoming and moved to Cheyenne as a child. He lived in Cheyenne until 2010 when he went into assisted living in Colorado to be closer to his daughter, Erika.
Mr. Tsuda served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired as the Fleet Supervisor with the State of Wyoming. George was an avid bowler and was a member of many leagues.
He is survived by his daughter, Erika Tsuda of Englewood, Colorado; a sister, Rose Tanaka of Alaska; and his grandson, Troy Balistrire.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Tsuda, whom he married on November 20, 1963; a brother, Tom Tsuda; two sisters, Susie Ichiuji and Margaret Matsumoto; and his parents, Tatsuhei and Tsugi Tsuda.
Life Commemoration services will be April 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Interment has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
