Gene E. Taylor, 90, of Cheyenne, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Life Care Center.
He was born January 18, 1928 in Burlington, Iowa, a son of Charles and Effie (Wiley) Taylor. He attended schools in Iowa before attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Gene married Lila Parsons on January 28, 1954 in Burlington. He served in the U.S. Marines before starting his career as a Greyhound Bus Driver.
Survivors include his wife Lila; three sons, John (Jean) Taylor; William (Helena) Taylor; Dan (Julie) Taylor; eight grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim Taylor and an Aunt, Edith Wiley.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Community of Christ Church, 3525 McCann Ave., Cheyenne.
