Gail Lynn Connerley, 51, ended her battle with cancer at Davis Hospice Center on Dec. 2, 2015. She was born November 11, 1964, in Eldora, Iowa to Phillip and Shirley Patrick. She lived in Fremont, Nebraska until she married Robert Connerley on September 28, 1985 when they moved to Loveland, Colorado. There, the couple had two daughters but then moved to Cheyenne in 1999. Gail worked as an elementary kitchen aide and bank teller for some of her life, but was mainly a stay at home mother and wife. She loved her family and her beloved husband, whom she nicknamed Clark and he nicknamed her Ellen, due to their gambling excursions. Gail enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas to gamble, and enjoyed the swimming pools and palm trees. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time in Colorado with her two daughters. Survivors include her husband, Robert Connerley of Cheyenne, daughters Amanda (Andrew Valdez) Aurora, CO and Riley (Jacob Feldman) Thornton, CO, her mother Shirley Patrick of Nebraska, sisters Peggi (Daryl) Meiners of Nebraska, Marti (Jim) Whitson of Wisconsin, a brother, Steve (Roxie) Patrick of Nebraska, her in-laws Bob (Sandra) Connerley of Nebraska, sister-in-law, Rhonda Shumake-Connerley of Nebraska, brother-in-law Royce (Annette) Connerley of Nebraska, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Philip Patrick and her beloved kitty, Sylvester. A Timeless Memory Service will be held on Wednesday December 9, 2015 at 10am at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Cremation has taken place. A service will also be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont, Nebraska on Friday, December 11th at 10am.
