Gail grew up in the farming community of Roseglen, North Dakota with her siblings, Donna and Eldon. She graduated from Ryder High School (Ryder, ND) and attended Business College in Wahpeton, ND.
While in college at Wahpeton, Gail met the love of her life, Jim Brisson. Gail and Jim were married on August 27, 1950, at First Lutheran Church in Minot, ND. They would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary this summer.

Gail was a proud mother and homemaker while later working secretarial positions at Tri-State Steel and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
As a couple they were active members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where Gail was involved in church circles, Altar Guild and served as a Sunday School teacher. She was also active as a 4-H leader, member of Town & Country Women’s League, PEO and local bridge groups.
In 1977 Gail and Jim moved to Nebraska where they lived until they retired back to Cheyenne. Wintering in Mesa, AZ they enjoyed golfing, walking, traveling, cruising, and square dancing.
