Frank IronShell, Jr., 69 of Cheyenne, died on December 23, 2016 in Cheyenne.
He was born on July 28, 1947 in Rosebud, South Dakota and had lived in Cheyenne for 26 years. He was raised in Nebraska and was a member of the Sicangua Oyate Lakota Tribe.
Frank was a brick layer, auto body specialist, electricians apprentice, and worked in construction. He loved the Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers, and enjoyed playing pool.
Frank is survived by his wife Madeline, whom he married on September 19, 1979 in Denver, Colorado; two sons, Thomas IronShell of California, and War Lance IronShell of Wyoming; two brothers, Mike and Jim; three sisters, Mary, Kathy, and Pearl; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Red Feather IronShell; and his parents, Frank IronShell, Sr., and Ellen Alexander.
