In his younger days, he rode bulls and bareback broncs, and entered many wild horse races with his brothers. Pete liked hunting and traveling. His passion was fishing, and he fished around the world. He was also the first in his family to graduate from high school.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Sloan Cathcart, whom he was with for 32 years; four brothers, Rich (Mona), Charlie (Carla), Jerry (Linda), and Paul (Kathy); eight nieces and nephews; and nineteen great nieces and nephews. He loved being Uncle Pete.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Florence A. “Al” and Maxine Cathcart; and a brother, Bill Cathcart.
Pete was very proud of Connie’s work, so in lieu of flowers, please contribute to the United Way of Laramie County.
