Frances Olivia Presbury, 78, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on January 15, 1937 in Aberdeen, Maryland and had lived here for 50 years.
Mrs. Presbury was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church and loved going to church and singing in the choir. Everybody in the neighborhood knew her as Mom or Grandma. She was very involved with her family and loved to play Bingo and watch Law and Order and NCIS.
Frances is survived by a son, Lawrence Presbury, Jr. of Cheyenne; three daughters, Jocquelyn Jones of Cheyenne, Deborah Gray (Samuel) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Melissa Wilkins of Baltimore, Maryland; a brother, Eugene Dyson, Sr. of Florida; 17 grandchildren, Michelle Campbell, Sheree Garcia, Bryan and Bridget Presbury, Maurice, Marcus, and Tenisha James, Latisha Presbury, Natasha Brown, Jovan, Javanae, and Shatra Presbury, Ariyan Trawick, Bryan Green, Samone Austin, Brionne Presbury, and Christopher Wilkins; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Presbury, Sr.; her parents, James and Estella (Ellis) Dyson; her son; Brian Presbury; eight brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Jasmine Wilkins.
Services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Interment will be in Beth El Cemetery.
