Felix W. Alcon, 82, of Cheyenne, died Monday, April 21, 2014 at home. Born July 10, 1931 in Mora, New Mexico, son to Jose and Refugio Alcon. Felix lived in Cheyenne approximately 65 years. He retired from the VA Hospital, after 38 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, softball, dancing and family.
He is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Luis) Cordova; Christine Alcon of Cheyenne; Barbara (Simon) Majalca of Aurora; three brothers, Valquin Valdez; Luis Alcon; Tony Alcon; four sisters, Andrelita Vialpando; Olinda Ramos; Carmen Villareal; Bernel Alcon; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Leonila and Opal; four sons; two daughters; two brothers; two sisters and two grandsons.
Vigil for the deceased will be Thursday, April 24th at 6:30 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Interment to follow at Olivet Cemetery.
