Evelyn (Evelina) P. Sanchez, 69 of Cheyenne Wyoming was born December 10, 1950 passed away January 17, 2020. Was born in Dallas Texas to Gloria Kiser. Married to Donald W. Sanchez on January 5, 1967 in Cheyenne Wyoming. They had three daughters, Lisa (Richard), Vicky (Vince), and Dawn (Warren). She had five granddaughters Kerrie, Casandra (Joseph), Katrina, Devyn and Marissa. Four grandsons Frankie, Brendon, Julian and Isaiah. Also, she was blessed with her first great granddaughter Gabriella. She enjoyed working many jobs, but her favorite was being the "Caretaker" to the love of her life. She loved her football teams the Wyoming Cowboys as well as Dallas Cowboys. She was most passionate about her family gatherings and
gardening in her yard.
She was the life of the party with her whistle, her loud laughter, dancing and crazy shenanigans. She enjoyed embarrassing her daughters and granddaughters. She loved to help those in need by mentoring anyone that came across her path.
She loved her eleven brothers and sisters, Pat, Tony, Christine, Virginia, Connie, Isabelle, Lorraine, Andrew, Linda, James and Autumn. And all the other in laws, Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and as well as all her friends. Way to many to name.
She is now laughing and dancing in heaven, her contagious laugh and smile will be missed by many.
Vigil for the deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Interment will be at Olivet Cemetery after the service.
