Ethel B. Couch, 96, of Cheyenne, died on June 10, 2019 in Cheyenne.
She was born on July 11, 1922 in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming.
She married Charles Couch on December 31, 1940 and they made their home in Cheyenne. She loved to sew and appliqué clothing. She was a talented artist and especially loved to write poetry. She was extremely proud of her entire family and they were the most important thing to her.
Mrs. Couch was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Auxiliaries.
She is survived by her children, John Couch (Barbara) of Cheyenne, Leonard Couch (Marian Black) of Buffalo, Wyoming, Theresa Lofink (Larry) of Cheyenne, and Cheryl Tottenhoff of Cheyenne; a brother, George Butler of Pine Bluffs; seven grandchildren, Darren Couch, Natalie Sanborn, Melissa Tinney, Erin Casey, John Mahaffy, Jason Couch, Stacey Pratt; two step grandchildren, Chad Lofink, Jodi Magee; fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Couch; parents, Mae and Clayton Butler; three sisters, Theresa Butler, Kathryn Edwards, and Marie Nugent; three brothers, Richard, Clayton, and Charles Butler; and a granddaughter, Serena Wardell.
A Celebration of her Life will be Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2-4 at The Gathering Place
