Ernesto E Pacheco, 69, of Laramie died Tuesday Sept. 26, 2017 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, WY from a lengthy illness. He was born May 16, 1948 in Mora, NM to Juan Christopher and Percillia Pacheco. The family then moved to Cheyenne, WY. In 1966 he met his wife Angelita Pacheco (Plasencio) and carried on to have five children. He attended school at LCCC for body work. Then he started a career in California, however moved back to Cheyenne. He relocated his family to Laramie in 1983 and began working for Thelen Body Shop 1982 until he retired in 2010. He loved telling his grandchildren stories about life. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He donated a kidney to his older brother Nelson with no question. He loved dancing with his wife, working on cars, spending time with family and gardening on his land. He was preceded in death by his father; son Frankie Pacheco; grandson Nicholas; and brothers Christopher, Roy, Nelson, and Frank Pacheco. He is survived by his wife, Angelita, three sons; Ernie (Diana), Joe (Testa) of Cheyenne, Benny (Lilly) and one daughter Angie (David) Candelaria of Laramie; mother Percillia Martinez; Brothers Billy (Debbie) and Benny (Emma) Pacheco, George (Beverly) Martinez; sister Marie Ebell; grandchildren, April (Ben) Grisham of Lathrop, CA , Susan (Derrick) Wells of California City, Mathew Pacheco of Cheyenne, WY, Amber, Christopher Plasencio, Ashly (Michael) Trujillo, Emelio, Amanda, and Aaron Candelaria of Laramie, WY. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren which he adored tremendously.
Vigil for the deceased will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28th at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Olivet Cemetery.
