Erminio J. Herrera, 75, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Davis Hospice Center.
He was born on August 12, 1939 in El Rito, New Mexico and had lived here for 70 years.
Mr. Herrera retired as a groundskeeper for the State of Wyoming after 19 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Good Sam’s Club, and enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn, whom he married on June 1, 1965 in Cheyenne; a daughter, Ramona Herrera (Joseph Montoya); two brothers, John Manuel Herrera and Robert J. Herrera; and two grandchildren, Eli Cardwell and Levi Herrera.
Erminio was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Lyn Herrera; his parents, Moses and Tiodorita Herrera; a brother, Moses Herrera; and two sisters, Mary Alice Martinez and Belen C. Herrera.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Friday, 6:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Tom Cronkleton as the celebrant.
Interment will be In Olivet Cemetery.
