Eric Glenn Scott, 55, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
Eric was born February 27, 1960 in Laramie, Wyoming to Harold Glenn Scott and Jeanette Lee (Wade) Scott and graduated from Laramie High School in 1978.
On January 10, 1980 he married Donna Grissom in Laramie. Eric was the embodiment of a patriot, serving in the Wyoming National Guard as an Aircraft Maintenance Senior Sergeant and Mechanic Maintenance Supervisor for 25 years before retiring honorably in 2005. After retiring from military service, he worked as a pipeline operator for both ONEOK, and Williams pipelines. Eric was a dedicated outdoorsman who achieved the distinction of Eagle Scout at the age of 17. He enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting and loved teaching those skills to others. He also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Boulder Ridge, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
Eric is survived by his parents, Glenn and Jeanette Scott of Laramie; his wife, Donna Scott of Cheyenne, his brother, Darren Scott (Becky) of Boulder CO; his daughter, Kristin Lewis (Danny) of Laramie; his son, Eric Francis Scott (Naomi) of Bigfork, Montana; and six grandchildren.
Life Commemoration services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
