Emil H. Schmale

Emil H. “Butch” Schmale died peacefully in Longmont, CO. on July 25, 2019 at the age of 96. He was born near Lodgepole, Nebraska on December 24, 1922. Emil served in the Pacific in WWII on the Naval Ship USS Telfair. After his military service, he became a life-long rancher, managing the Schmale Brothers Ranch at Bosler, Wyoming. He also owned and operated ranches at Grover, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Emil was preceded in death by his wife Grace. He is survived by three step-grand children and nine nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Emil will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel in Cheyenne. A reception will follow.
