August 31, 1939 — April 19, 2023

Elva J Trimmer 1939 -2023 of Cheyenne left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 19, 2023. She was born August 31, 1939, to Robert and Grace Grant in Delta CO. Elva was employed by the state of Wyoming archives department, later she helped launch the soup kitchen feeding program with The Salvation Army Cheyenne Corps, she worked alongside her husband Loren at American Tax Associates. Earlier in her life she was involved with Cub Scouts, Jr. League baseball and was a youth leader with her husband at The Salvation Army Corps. Elva was loyal to Jesus and was involved with her church, The Salvation Army Corps. She loved watching Bronco football and collected Coca Cola items. Her true love was spending time with her family and friends. Elva enjoyed writing letters to the cadets in the school for officers training for The Salvation Army. She is survived by four sons and five daughters-in-law, (Diana), Kyle (Martha), Kevin (Tricia), Darren (LeAnn), Troy (Anie), and eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sibling. Elva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Loren/LA; son, Dennis, and eight siblings. Elva will be laid to rest with her husband in the columbarium at the Cheyenne National Cemetery.
Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. June 17, 2023, at The Salvation Army located at 601 E. 20th Street.
