Elizabeth Marie "Liz" Brown

July 15, 1974 — January 31, 2024

Elizabeth Marie Brown, 49 of Cheyenne, was called home to her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2024. She was born July 15, 1974, in Cheyenne to CJ Brown and Patricia Ann Brown. She would become a wonderful older sister to both Kimberly and Daniel.
Elizabeth attended Central High School graduating in 1992. She then went on to LCCC and obtained her Associate's Degree in Accounting. She continued to Colorado State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Lastly, with her wit and brilliance, she stayed in Colorado to earn her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
She started working for the Wyoming Department of Transportation but eventually moved on to the State of Wyoming, Department of Revenue as an Accounting Specialist.
Elizabeth exuded love. When she loved, she loved wholeheartedly. Elephants! Elephants! Elephants! Although she was not a biological mother, she treated her nieces and nephew as her own. She was extremely selfless when it came to helping others. Her favorites were tutoring, accounting, and going on adventures to find a new food spot she researched. Her excitement was contagious.
She is survived by her father, CJ; mother, Patricia; sister, Kimberly; and brother, Daniel; her aunts, Elizabeth Potter, Earlean Burnett, Marylean Cutler, Shirley Robinson, and Vera Jones; her uncles, Mose Brown Jr, and James Reid; nieces and nephew, Nevaeh, Tayzia, Jasmine, and Xavier; and also survived by extended family, dear friends, and her brothers and sisters from church, New Kingdom COGIC.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mose Sr, and Ira Brown; maternal grandparents, Samuel and Pearl Reid; aunts, Evelyn Reid, Libby Musgrow, and Sarah Reed; uncles, JB Brown and John S. Jenkins; and her godparents, Andrew and Betty Stiggers.
