Eleanor Marie Reczek

Eleanor Marie Reczek, 82, of Cheyenne, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness.
She was born on November 11, 1935 in Cheyenne to Ralph and Dorothy (Castillo) Madrid.
Eleanor retired from U.S. West after 28 years of services and J.C. Penney’s after 10 years of service. She was very active with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6 and held several positions in local and state American Legion offices. She was instrumental in helping Cheyenne East High School acquire rifles for the ROTC program. She was the mother of many of the sons in the American Legion.
She is survived by a son, Richard “Rick” Reczek, Jr. of Cheyenne.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leonard and Donald Madrid; and her ex-husband, Richard “Dick” Reczek, Sr.
Memorial services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
