Edward Newton Bolander, a beloved member of his community and a dedicated professional, passed away on March 22, 2025, in Clinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 90. Born on September 13, 1934, in Denver, Colorado, Edward lived a life marked by dedication, service, and commitment.
With a career as an accountant, Edward exemplified diligence and integrity in his profession. His work reflected a deep understanding of finance and a commitment to helping others navigate the complexities of their economic lives. Education was important to Edward, and although he attended some college, he made the most of his opportunities, continuously striving for excellence throughout his career.
His service to his country in the Air Force is a testament to his sense of duty and sacrifice. Edward's military experience instilled in him values that guided him throughout his life, forging a strong character and a sense of responsibility towards his fellow citizens.
Edward’s life was one of simplicity and strength. He will be remembered not only for his professional contributions but also for his kind heart and the way he touched the lives of those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Bolander and husband Cory Cole; his grandchildren, Joshua Gross and his wife Sarah, Jonathan Gross and his wife Ann, Jessica Larrew and her husband Scott, and by 10 great grandchildren.
Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn Bolander, his daughter Carol Ann Gollobith, and his parents.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to honor Edward on April 6, 2025, at Rugged Cross Chapel at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The service will begin at 10:00 AM, directly followed by inurnment.
