Edna Mae Cooper, 93, of Cheyenne died Monday, March 30, 2015 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 14, 1921 in Fort Morgan, Colorado and had lived here since 1942.
Edna was a technician for the Wyoming State Highway Department.
She was a member of the Retired Railroaders, Old Timers UPPR, Eagles, Moose Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She enjoyed bowling, gambling, making ceramics, and going dancing with her husband of 74 years.
Edna is survived by her husband, Ora “Cleve” Cooper; two children, Gerald (Mitzi) Cooper of Overland Park, Kansas and Claudia (Bill) Tolan of Sun City West, Arizona; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, George and Katherine Walters; five brothers, Ruben, Jacob, George, Reinhold and Carl Walters and three sisters, Ruth Thorndike, Dorothy Boyd, and Helen Lindblad.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Rugged Cross Chapel in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Honorary casket bearers are Jay Cooper, Heather Henderson, Dean Henderson, Jodi Tolan, Mechele Burry, and Erin Tolan-Keig.
