“I woke up one morning and you were gone.
Nevermore will a breath be drawn.
I must go on without you now
Even though I’m not sure how.
I have lost my soul mate
Who would imagine such a fate?
The kids have lost their dad.
You were their friend and advisor, Oh how sad!
Forever will you remain in my heart
Living with me even though we are apart.
One day we will be together again
Only God knows when.
For those who knew and loved you too
May they find peace and hearts renewed
To Glorify God in all they do.
Rest in peace dear heart
