Dorothy Muniz Romero, 84, of Cheyenne, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Dorothy was born April 1, 1930 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Thomas Muniz and Benita Nunez Muniz.
She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Abe (Lisa) Romero, Thomas (Angel) Romero and Matthew (Gina) Romero; seven grandchildren, Josh, Matthew, Cheyenne, Anastasia, Benita, Jade Lynn and Judea; brother, Heracleo (Claudia) Muniz of Williston, North Dakota; sister, Alice Chea of Denver; half-sisters, Margarita Muniz of Denver; Mary Ann (Don) Palizzi of Brighton; Thomasita (Allen) May of Missouri; Lucy (Wally) Moore of California; and Julia (Eugene) Muniz of Minnesota; half-brothers, Salvador (Bella) Muniz of Brighton; and Richard (Connie) Muniz of Fort Collins.
She loved her boys with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband Abraham Romero, whom she married on September 3, 1950 in Fort Collins, Colorado; parents; a sister, Angela Rivera; and her brothers, Casper, Jose, Mark, Tom and Paul Muniz.
Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment of her urn will follow.
Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
