Doris May Williamson, 91, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on June 22, 1924 in Hart, Nebraska, and had lived off and on in Cheyenne and Casper.
Doris was a homemaker and worked as a custodian in the Casper school systems for 20 years. She was a member of numerous social groups including the Red Hat Society. She was a very good organizer and enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Taylor (Scott) of Cheyenne and Cindy Gifford of Cody; a son, Jerry Kvaall (Joyce) of Arizona; a sister, Lois Dubiliski of Callifornia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her husbands, Ira Endicott and Lee “Bill” Williamson; parents, Jesse and Lela (Richards) Longwell; a son, Richard Endicott; two daughters Joyce Kvall and Loretta Pruitt; two sisters; and five brothers, all of which served during WWII and returned alive to Wyoming.
Cremation has taken place.
