Doreen Ann Winjum Spencer age 76, passed at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Wyoming with her niece June at her side. She was born on October 6, 1947, in Watertown, South Dakota to Dewey and Alice Winjum. She was the youngest of eight siblings and was closer in age to many of her nieces and nephews than her brother and sisters. Her preteen years were in Sioux Falls, South Dakota until she moved to California with her parents.

After graduation from Fontana High School in Fontana, California, she attended cosmetology school in the San Fernando Valley within Los Angeles, California. She worked in the Los Angeles area as a hair stylist for several years. Later in life she worked in the Real Estate industry as an Escrow Officer in the Denver area until her retirement.

Doreen loved the Los Angeles Dodgers, collected Coca-Cola memorabilia, and was very fond of and collected Native American art. One of her favorite things to do with her husband Jack and their children was camping in their small travel trailer. She and Jack even lived in their trailer for a short time in Texas.

She is survived by her children Ronald Spencer, Scarlet Boxa and grandchildren of Colorado, her sisters LaVonne Wolcott of South Dakota, Mary Langendorfer of South Dakota, and Joyce Wright of California, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband Jack Spencer, her parents Dewey and Alice Winjum, her brother Dale Winjum, and her sisters Darlene Bryant, Gloria Abraham, and Marlys Tornow.
