Donald “Donnie” Nelson, 61, of Cheyenne passed away in the great outdoors surrounded by nature. He was born on November 15, 1962, in Cheyenne, WY, to Donald Lee and Lois Ann Nelson.
Donnie dedicated his career to the craft of carpentry, working tirelessly for various companies throughout his life. His skilled hands built countless homes and structures, leaving a lasting legacy of his craftmanship and dedication. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail, work ethic, and the pride he took in his work.
Beyond his professional life, Donnie was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, shed hunting, camping, and riding ATVs. He found solace and adventure in the wilderness, always eager to explore new trails and camp under the stars. His love for nature was evident for all who knew him, and he often shared his adventures with friends and family.
