Domingo B. Medina, 82, of Cheyenne, died Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Sierra Hills Assisted Living Center. Domingo was born on September 23, 1941, in Guadalupita, New Mexico, and had lived in Cheyenne for 67 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Eagles Lodge and was an avid bingo player.
Mr. Medina is survived by his four sons, Dominick (Lee) Medina, Matthew Medina, Billy (Lori) Medina, Adam (Danelle) Medina; daughter, Bernadette (Donaldo) Medina; two sisters, Rosa Romero of Cheyenne and Mercy Cruz of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Phoebie; parents, Blas Sr. and Ruperta (Garcia) Medina; five brothers and three sisters. The Vigil for the Deceased will be Wednesday, June 12th at 6 pm at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be Thursday, June 13th at 10:30 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Emilio Cabrera as the celebrant. Reception immediately following mass at the reception hall. Cremation and burial services will take place at a later date.
