Dominga C. Chavez, 71, passed away peacefully at her home on September 11, 2021, due to numerous health issues and congestive heart failure. She was born January 9, 1950, in Greeley, Colorado to Domingo and Jessie (Solis) Chavez.
Dominga was such a giving and generous person. She has such a big heart.
She retired from Laramie County School District #1 as a school bus driver aide.
Dominga is survived by her son, Freddie Tenorio; grandchildren, Anthony Tenorio, Melissa (Jessie) and Michelle Leyba; brothers, Primo Chavez, Cheyenne and Johnny Chavez, California; sisters, Caroline Chavez, California and Helen Acosta, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dominga was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ted Steve Leyba, Jr.; sister, Gloria (Chavez) Chanco and numerous other family members.
Dominga maybe gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment of her urn will take place immediately following the service at Olivet Cemetery.
