Dennis Richard Lemoine, 74, of Cheyenne, died June 30th, 2024, at Davis Hospice Center.
Dennis was born February 15th, 1950, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Kenneth William and Pauline Ann (Brown) Lemoine. He graduated from East High School in 1968.
Dennis spent almost his whole working career in auto finance at Halladay Motors and eventually went on to own The Great Western AutoMart/UHaul. He was always proud to have worked for Halladay Motors, achieving Sales Person of the Month multiple times and Sales Person of the Year in 2010. The friendships he made there would last a lifetime.
Following such a successful career, Dennis found comfort and satisfaction as a shuttle driver for Ken Garff Motors, until he became ill in 2023.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching sports so much that he was given the name, “Sports Den." He had great joy in watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Notre Dame and his grandkids play sports. He loved his family very much and was one of their biggest supporters.
He is survived by his sister Melody (Steven) Sherman, son Kenneth (Jennifer) Lemoine, grandchildren Brendan, Benjamin and Adelyn.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 15th, at Beth El Cemetery in Cheyenne with Elder Jack Studley officiating.
A special thank you to Tim Joannides and family, our work family from Halladay Motors and Ken Garff Motors. We appreciate all the love and support you’ve given us.
