While Dennis was in Belen, he met the love of his life, Barbara Mullins. After a short courtship, they were married February 19, 1964. Once arriving in Wyoming, they raised three children. Family and faith were everything to him. He was an active congregate with SonRise Church and a Cheyenne Philatelic Society member.
