Delores Pollare, 87, of Cheyenne, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at her home.
She was born December 23, 1928 in Mott, North Dakota, a daughter of Abraham and Emma (Pederson) Johnson. Delores graduated from high school in North Dakota and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in business from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She then attended the University of Wyoming receiving her Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
Delores was married to Joseph S. Pollare in 1948 in Cheyenne. He passed away on December 4, 2013. She was employed as a Financial Consultant with F.E. Warren Air Force Base.
Delores was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cheyenne and Toastmasters.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Pollare-Gile and husband Harold of Laramie; and a son, John Pollare of Cheyenne. She also leaves behind her cat Catie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters, Florence Berg; and Alice Pope; and her brothers, Arthur and Ralph Johnson.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
