Delana Hamilton, 45, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away into Christ’s Kingdom at Davis Hospice Center with many friends and Family members by her side.
She was born December 25, 1972 in Chadron, Nebraska to Earl and Doris (Hensel) Conley. She grew up in Alliance, Nebraska and graduated from Alliance High School in 1991. Delana also lived in Kansas and North Carolina before moving to Cheyenne so she could be closer to her family. In Cheyenne, she worked at Walmart where she met her soul mate Don Hamilton. They were married on January 19, 2008. Don and Delana were blessed with their son, Landon Hamilton, in October of 2008. Delana continued to work in customer service at Walmart until July 2018 when she had to resign her position because her liver disease had progressed to the point she could no longer work.
Delana loved being a mother and cherished her son Landon. She was a very devoted wife to Don and desired to spend every moment with both of them. Gardening in the summer and reading whenever she could brought her much joy.
