Deanna Bauman

January 25, 1943 — August 9, 2014

Deanna (Kaiser) Bauman, 71, went home to be with Jesus her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 09, 2014, peacefully at the Davis Hospice Center with her daughters by her side.
She was born on January 25, 1943 in Hot Springs, South Dakota, the youngest child of eleven.
She was a true inspiration to everyone she met, sharing her faith in the Lord, reminding us that “everyday was a gift.” Deanna will be remembered as a brave, beautiful woman, that was a devoted wife, a loving and proud mother and grandmother who loved her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to the moon and back.
Deanna was a teacher’s aide under Mrs. Rev. Bornaman at Our Savior Lutheran School. She was a personal shopper at Joslins and continued in retail sales with Dillards and Hallmark. She and her husband Tom were owners of KRAE, Inc.
Deanna was a charter member of The Cowgirls of the West and loved to travel the world with Tom. She had a passion for music and played both the piano and saxophone. Deanna sang with the Cheyenne Mothers Singers.
Deanna was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and its Lydia Circle. She reminds us one of her favorite verses, Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all your heart-Lean not on your own understanding-Acknowledge him always and he will direct your path.
She is survived and adored by two loving daughters, Brenda Foley (Joe) and Michelle Cooke (Terry); three grandchildren, Brianne and Travis Dunivent, and Thyme Cooke; and one great-grandson, Ryker “RT” Dunivent-Waln; five sisters, Esther Schrecengost of Anaheim, California, Ella White of Alliance, Nebraska, Lila Mathiot of Laramie, Dorothy Trommer of Lowell, Indiana, and Barb Anderson of Prescott, Arizona; a brother, Al Kaiser of Reno, Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews that love their “Aunt Dee” with all their hearts!
Deanna was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tom Bauman; her parents, Toby and Pauline (Neiffer) Kaiser; and four brothers, Ben, Ed, Lester, and Leonard Kaiser.
Memorial services will be Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 5101 Dell Range Boulevard, with Pastor Joshua Scheer officiating.
Contribution gifts in Deanna’s memory can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Cremation and private family interment of her urn has taken place.
