David Thomas Lenhardt, 24, of Denver, died on March 24, 2015.
He was born on November 30, 1990 and had lived in Denver for two years.
David loved playing and coaching baseball, golf, the Denver Broncos, and the Colorado Rockies.
He played competitive baseball through his youth before attending Hartnell College in Salinas, California to play ball. David then moved to Denver to start his job working in the banquet department as a catering specialist at Woolley’s Classic Suites. He was coming back to Cheyenne this Spring to serve as the Cheyenne Mustangs JV Head Coach.
David is survived by his parents, Kent and Amy Lenhardt; a brother, Steven Lenhardt; a sister, Melanie Lenhardt; his grandparents, Janice Lenhardt and Ron and Janice Thiel; his uncles, Kevin Lenhardt (Nancy), Kirk Lenhardt (Tracy), Mike Thiel (Kristen), Dan Thiel; his aunt, Kelly (Dan) Irish; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Lenhardt; and an aunt, Rene Thiel.
Services will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Element Church.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
