David Porter Gay, 70, of Cheyenne, died on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Cheyenne.
He was born on June 12, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia and had lived here for 47 years.
David was the project manager for Simon Contractors and was a retired combat engineer Major in the United States Army Reserves. He had a great love for cars, and was known as the Southside Cheyenne neighborhood Dad.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gay, whom he married on February 13, 1972 in Cheyenne; three sons, David Porter Gay, Jr. (Jen), Capt. Rodger Gay (Crystal), and Anthony Ramirez (Ana); three sisters, Cheryl Soden (Butch), Trudy Fox, Barbara England (Sparky); and twelve grandchildren.
Life Commemoration Services will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
