David Branigan, 84, of Albin, Wyoming passed away the 3rd of November 2014 at his home.
David was born 19th of January 1930 to Edwin and Emma Jean (Barlow) Branigan in Albin. He attended school at Albin, graduating in 1948.
He farmed and mechaniced all his life, he loved to take a badly wrecked car and rebuild it back to new condition. He drove a school bus while in high school, when his route was done in the afternoon, he worked at a repair shop in Albin.
He was in the Air National Guard, was a Laramie County Fire Warden, and served on the District 2 school board. He loved his family very much and tried to make all the boys become mechanics. He and his wife Jean spent several winters in Arizona until his health gave way. They moved back to their home at Albin for good.
David leaves his wife, Jean of 65 years; two children, Mick Branigan of Albin and LeAnn and J.C. McLaughlin of Albin; seven grandchildren, Cody and Shawnae Branigan of Albin, Mikki and Ty Conaway of Aurora, Colorado, Jason and Jillian McLaughlin of Albin, Jessica and Jayson Olson of Cody, Nebraska, Travis McLaughlin of Albin, Patrick and Cheri McLaughlin of Powell, Tennessee and Emery Branigan of Albin; nine step-grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Albin Baptist Church, Albin Fire Department or Davis Hospice in Cheyenne.
