Daryl Allen Gilbert

Daryl Allen Gilbert, 61, of Cheyenne, WY, died August 23, 2019 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center following a long illness. He was born January 4, 1958 in Coshocton, OH. He lived several places growing up as he moved with his family but lived in Cheyenne for many years. Daryl had many artistic skills, particularly drawing, rebuilding guitars, and leatherwork. He was a talented musician and had a lifelong passion for restoring and repairing cars. He loved Western history and studied it extensively. Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Parrish, sisters; Susan (Todd) Parkins, Karen (Vince) Fate, two nieces, two nephews, one great-niece, and three great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Gilbert, Step-father; Jim Parrish, son; Kyle, and brother; Greg Parrish. Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 31st at 11AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with burial in St. Mark’s Columbarium. www.wrcfuneral.com .
